Avalanche Creek (Glacier N.P.)

When visiting Glacier National Park, a great 1/2 day hike is up to Avalanche Lake (you can use the other 1/2 day to either rest or combine it with another 1/2 day hike). And one of the attractions as you hike up (and down) the trail, is soaking up some positive ions from the rushing waters of Avalanche creek, especially in the areas where the creek has carved out its path between the massive boulders. It’s a perfect spot to set up your tripod, snap a few longer exposures and rest awhile.
