Lake Louise Sunrise (Banff N.P.)

Banff National Park is a location in this world that’s a must see. If you’ve been, then you know what I mean. If you’ve never been, get it on your list and put it at the top. Just go, you’ll be so happy you did. It’s beauty and dramatic differences from high peaks to low glacier lakes, makes your mind explode with amazement and wonder, while at the same time engulfing your soul with calmness. 
Lake Louise is a beautiful spot and must see location when visiting Banff. On this particular sunrise, I'd been shooting the first light in a different spot, when I decided I needed a better foreground. After walking down the path a little while, when I came across a set of boulders that interested me. A few of them were peaking up above the water, along with a lone boulder further in, giving me a strong foreground element to help frame the scene.
