Monument Valley Moonrise

Monument Valley is an exciting place to visit and photograph, as the large buttes throughout the horizon line make for one stunning sight after another. And if you get the opportunity, I would highly recommend staying the night and seeing the area with the stars above. There is an overnight camping area adjacent to the Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center that gives you amazing views of the area all night long. It’s not the most comfortable camping you’ll ever experience, but enjoying the area with the stars above is 100% worth it.
