Plain of Six Glaciers (Banff N.P.)

On this particular day in Banff National Park, we took the Plain of Six Glaciers trail up to the teahouse to enjoy some high, alpine afternoon tea. We set off a little later in the day, to try and miss some of the crowds that frequent this very popular trail, and we were rewarded. We were one of only a few enjoying the views at the top, along with the fact there were only a couple of other hikers having tea at the teahouse while we were sipped our warm drinks (we had a prime table with a prime view). On the way back down, the sun was cutting through the clouds and above the massive mountain, so we stopped for a few minutes and soaked up the scene that was happening around us.
