Sun Rays Over The Mittens (Monument Valley)

The southwest is one of my favorite places in the world to visit, as there are so many amazing natural scenes to see and photograph. Monument Valley is such a classic and dramatic location and always is a must stop in when visiting this part of the US.
This scene was captured during a clearing morning storm, which provided us with some beautiful sun rays streaking down from the clouds above. I hiked over to give myself the position of the two mittens so they were nestled together.
