Super Blood Wolf Moon

I bundled up and put on all my cold weather gear, laced up my hiking shoes and then opened my front door and preceded to walk around my own yard and and down the road to the forested park down near my home. All in the effort to photograph the Super Blood Wolf Moon. 
 
It was a true home game. I didn’t need to buy an airline ticket to fly anywhere, I didn’t even need to get in my car, so it was a no brainer that I would brave the brisk 5 degree chilly night to capture this natural event. The recent snow storm that dropped almost a foot of snow in our area helped give the trees some depth and contrast and a nice winter feel that's associated with the Wolf Moon … In this case the Super Blood Wolf Moon.
