Ten Peaks Valley Hiker with View (Banff N.P.)

In this image, I highlight my favorite woman, my incredible wife, who is seen above crushing the trail with a few of the Ten Peaks in the distance. This was captured Pre-Twins (P.T. as we call it in our home) when we made an epic trip to Banff National Park. Our twin girls are the best thing to happen to us and we both treasure them greatly, but it meant we needed to trade in our hiking poles and tripods for strollers and bassinets, and thus our adventures outdoors on epic trails were put on hold for awhile. But, this is where my wife is the Rock of our family, she knows that the mountains call me and the tranquility of hiking and photographing nature is what calms my soul. So, when I told her about my 2-week photo tour earlier this year, she said without any hesitation, "Go For It Jay," even though that meant it would put extra pressure on her to run the household solo with our two toddlers. She’s the strongest, smartest, kindest, most loving person I know ... My Rock.
