Zion Sunset Glow

Zion National Park is a beautiful location that’s full of great adventures and places to photograph. There are way to many things to do for a short stay, but any amount of time you spend in this location will bring your heart closer to nature and fill your body with amazing, positive energy.
On this morning, I was out on a walk along the watchman trail with my focus on The Sentinel. The morning cloud cover was semi-heavy, but I went on my hike/walk anyway because you never know what is going to happen, plus everyone else back at the campsite was sleeping anyway. And after wandering around capturing some fine scenes (that were in flat lighting and less dramatic), the sun finally cracked through the clouds, giving a strong, warm light against The Sentinel and the rest of the mountain range. I was already sort of in position, so I quickly found a higher vantage point on the trail, readjusted my settings and snapped away. The light only lasted a few minutes before the clouds once again blocked it, but I was able capture a few frames of the dramatic scene, including this one.
