The Grand Canyon is one of my first national parks I ever visited and still one of my favorites to return to. Because, no matter how many times you experience the enormity of this natural phenomenon of a place, it will still bring you a beautiful sense of peace and joy as you view and soak up the amazing landscape around you.
I always love searching and photographing the nooks, the crannies and the small slices of large, natural areas, like the Grand Canyon. And during this particular sunrise, the morning rays created a lovely shadow within each of the separate valleys, showcasing the many layers of just this one section of the Grand Canyon. It just keeps going and going and going.
