Bryce Canyon National Park is full of great energy and one amazing view after another. The landscape is unique in so many ways, as hoodoos jet up in sheets, creating beautiful patters of shapes and colors.
On this adventure through the mysterious hoodoos of Bryce, I took my time capturing the scenes that opened up in front of me. And as I ran into this section, the sun was getting lower in the sky and creating a perfect backlight for the layers of hoodoos. The light was just bouncing around, giving a beautiful soft, glow to the backs of the red rocks. I mostly used my 70-200mm lens to capture sections of the hoodoos, as I loved how the details really popped as you zoomed closer into each of the scenes. This image was captured at 135mm.
